2. Isn't there any other New Zealand only banner exchanges?
Yes there is another one, it's called the New Zealand Hyperbanner. This service is run out of Israel and is hosted outside of New Zealand in the USA, this means that the each time someone looks at a page that has the Hyperbanner code on it the request for the advert goes all the way over to the states, then the advert is sent to the user again from the states. This has, in the past, proven to be quite slow at times and unreliable, another thing to remember is that a lot of Kiwis are still paying for international traffic so in some cases users are having to pay to use your site, not really fair is it?  The NZ Ads server is in Auckland, New Zealand so all traffic is kept down to national only.

3. I've joined - now what do I do?
Firstly you will need to insert the NZ Ads code into your pages, to get this code logon to the member services page (from the home page) and use the NZ Ads code generator, once you have inserted this code into your page/s you will start earning credits. The next thing you do is should create a banner for your site. Once you finish creating your banner send it us at nzads@nzpages.co.nz we will check it and upload it to your account, your banner will then start appearing on the sites of other NZ Ads members.

4. What are the NZ Ads banner specification that I have to conform to?
The NZ Ads banner specification is quite simple:
The banner must be 408x60 pixel size
and under 8K and must be a GIF (it can be animated).

5. Will you start charging at some point for this service?
No! The exchange is a FREE service, the only people who will pay are the people who want to advertise on the service without taking part in the exchange service (sponsors).

6. How do the credits get calculated?
When someone loads a page from your site that has the NZ Ads code in it a banner will get shown on the page and your account will be credited with half a credit (1/2). These credits are spent when your banner is shown on another members site (your banner will never appear on your own site) your account will be debited one credit (1). So for example if  you showed 500 pages on your site you would be credited with 250 credits and therefore your banner would appear 250 times elsewhere.

7. If I have to have credits before my banner will get shown how do I start, do I have to buy some credits?
No! When you first join NZ Ads your account will be credited with 500 credits FREE!
